Spectacular Lightning Display over Lake Ontario‏

Lightning pictures taken over Lake Ontario when storms rolled in around midnight on a night in August. The fixed lights on the horizon in some of the images is some kind of giant freighter ship which has been anchored offshore all day. In one of the images, lightning appears to strike the ship. Most of the images are 30 second time exposures in which multiple lightning bolts are often captured in one single frame. .
