Installment #1 - Islands trip July 1983
The year was 1983. The beer flowed like water, money was rarely a
problem and riding motorcycles was the favorite recreational activity of
the day. This is the first installment of what I hope will be many
vintage neighborhood photo postings. These photos are from 1983 in the
1000 Islands, specifically Gananoque.

In the lower right is my sweet 1981 Suzuki GS1100 with
Kerker header.

This Park in Gananoque was a favorite spot to stop and drink a few beers
when we went
across the border to pick up Brador Beer.

We always had a beer in our hands. Here's Charlie showing off his beer
muscles.

Charlie comes to the rescue. Poor Pickle got a
butt-whipping while Money refereed the wrestling match. Twenty-two
year-old testosterone levels combined with 6.2% alcohol Canadian Beer
usually resulted in this.
