Introduction to photo editing using Adobe Lightroom CC - Full class description Saturday, October 21 from 9 am to 4:00 pm. $120 Sign up (If this class fills up quickly, I will open up another class) This class is designed for beginners who are just getting into editing photos using Lightroom. It is a comprehensive class that takes the mystery out of all of those sliders and settings in the Lightroom program. At the end of this class, you will be able to edit your photos beautifully and unlock your creativity using the Lightroom software. As always, I will share all of my special techniques that I use to post process photos that you have seen on social media. As anyone who has taken any of my classes knows, I don’t hold anything back! To get the most out of this class, you will need to bring your camera and laptop, and be comfortable with the settings for both. We will cover a lot of material together, and familiarity with your equipment will allow you to get the most out of this class. Saturday, October 28 from from 9 am to 4:00 pm. $120 Sign up (If this class fills up quickly, I will open up another class) This class picks up where our Beginner’s class left off and introduces the student to more advanced editing techniques. Building on the foundation of editing in Lightroom, we will work together to take those photos from Lightroom into Photoshop and utilize at least one HDR program to learn and practice techniques such layer masks, dodge and burn, HDR and so much more. This course is designed to help the student become more familiar with the wide range of editing tools available to you so that you can make your photos artistic expressions of your own personal style. This session will teach you the editing techniques that I use every day for photos you have seen on social media and elsewhere. And, as always, I freely share my most cherish 'secret' techniques. You will need to bring laptop loaded with the Adobe creative cloud (which includes both Lightroom and Photoshop) and either Photomatrix or EasyHDR. The free trial versions of the HDR programs are sufficient. Please contact me if you have questions about the software requirements.
